This CPD accredited course is tailored for leaders and managers in the voluntary, health, and social care sectors who support individuals facing multiple disadvantage or complex situations.
This course will explore how trauma-informed leadership can help us understand how trauma impacts both service users and staff, and how to integrate this awareness into our leadership practices. By fostering environments of safety, trust, and empowerment, leaders can enhance team resilience and improve service outcomes.
Participants will learn to:
- Recognise the signs of trauma and its effects on behaviour
- Implement strategies that promote psychological safety
- Support staff well-being and prevent burnout
- Enhance organizational culture through trauma-informed principles
Each module contains multiple training videos from experts in the field, which sit alongside downloadable tools, worksheets, materials and links to further reading.
Length: 4 modules, Duration: 30 - 45 mins of study per module.
By adopting a trauma-informed approach, we can create more supportive and effective organisations that are better equipped to meet the multiple and complex needs of their communities.
