This course on “Understanding and Working with Substance Misuse” will focus on the following areas: 

• Learning about the prevalence, context and problems associated with substance use disorders. 
• Develop your understanding on how to comprehensively assess and formulate substance use in an individualised and person-centred way.  
• Practical techniques to guide your use of psychosocial interventions that can support people with substance use disorder to achieve wellbeing, maintain recovery and sustain long term behavioural change.
